10/22 Earth Science update and homework due 10/29

Hi folks,

Today we began by talking about crystals. What are they, how do they form and why they take certain shapes?

After that, we focused on the Earth as a living, moving, ever changing thing. We discussed the inner features of the Earth and how they cause volcanos, Earthquakes and how they have caused the Earth's surface to change over the years.

Homework for this week is to read chapter 10 in the book; pages 272 to 288.

On page 294 do questions #'s 1 - 14.
